Life is great and it's going to get even better! I am a confident optimist and try to find good in everything and everyone--not always easy, I might point out! :) I love my family, Chicago, and the Cubs and my Catholic faith is important to me. (Just so you know, though--I'm more of a "cafeteria" Catholic...going down the line with my tray and filling up on what I like...probably like a good number of American Catholics. I don't believe every tenet of the Catholic Church. I do go to church on most Sundays, though. It gets me back to center to start the week on a good foot and trying to be the best person I can be.)

In the workplace, I can be competitive, yet fair-minded and know there's life after 9-5. I believe our *work* doesn't define us. It's who we are as people which defines us. (I'll tell you more about what I do in an e-mail/phone conversation. It's in the journalism field.)

I workout 3-5 times a week and took up golf in Aug. 2006. I can honestly say, "I'm hooked" on playing golf. It's a fun sport if you don't take it seriously (and with the kind of golf game I have, I'd better NOT take it seriously!).

I'm looking for someone who is excited about life...is open to communicating feelings in a loving, mature way and who knows she'll get the same from me. Ideally, we'd share a number of interests. Others of mine include photography, taking walks, attending sporting events (did I mention I was a Cubs fanatic? ), concerts, and just relaxing at home catching up on what the DVR recorded.

I'd opt for a get together that would allow us to talk more ....to learn more about each other. It could be anything from a stop at a local coffee shop to a low-key place for lunch to hitting a few balls at a driving range. The company would matter more than the place.
