Fun, intelligent, thoughtful guy who is worth your while...

I’m well-educated, have good manners, but am not always serious. I'm gainfully employed, but would prefer to travel or do fun stuff all the time. We all know that's impossible! So, I've chosen to live my dreams rather than dream my life. Part of it is making work fun (yes, that's possible). Until I hit that “fiver”, I’m going to have to work – might as well make the best out of it! I'm realist, but can think outside the box. I’m absolutely not a nerd, get along well with them at work, but keep them out of my personal life.

I'm secure around people, including women, and tend to get along better with folks who are the same. I have my ups and downs, but can hide them well. I treat others the way I wish to be treated and expect the same. I’m definitely an outgoing, extrovert person who can entertain and party "like there is no tomorrow", keeping in mind that tomorrow will come (avoid future regrets).

My hobbies are music (I play a couple of instruments), airplanes, travel, photography and woodworking/carpentry. I’m into a lot of different music styles, with a tendency to favor what I play. Being a pilot is fun, since it has allowed me to go places I otherwise couldn’t go. I can speak a couple of languages, so if English isn't your first language, there is still a good chance I can speak it. While I do appreciate when people think that English is all that’s needed (I disagree, but respect the opinion), learning foreign languages is a great way to broaden one’s horizon and it allows for better understanding of what’s happening in the world. I’ve traveled a lot of places and it is always fun to meet people who can talk about journeys they’ve taken to places I haven’t been – including ones nearby.

A dinner date would be nice, I promise you won't be bored. No strings attached.

My favorite conversation topics include travel, music and culture. Whatever you like talking about the most, I'm interested in hearing about it - I am looking for ways to broaden my horizon. It is cool to be "silly" (within reason, of course!), telling jokes or funny stories usually “breaks the ice”.

Fun dates include going on a flying trip with dinner; flying the airplane takes undivided attention for the most part, so dinner/coffee in between is a good idea. I like drives to the beach, although that's a good ninety minutes each way. Oh, and cruising down the interstate singing along to loud music, that’s fun!

Most importantly: A date is a good date, if it is fun and leads somewhere. It's not a job interview.
