Hi, I'm a young 55 year old, self employed professional. I enjoy good food and wine...prefer trendy bars to the corner pub. I like the cinema but with work and domestic commitments I've got out of the habit of going to the theatre. I have 4 children 14, 18, 20 and 25 who keep me young(sometimes they think I'm a nutcase)....only middle 2 live with me. I've never been the typical 'mumsy' sort as I've had a career all my working life and the family have fitted in. I try to go to the gym at least once a week...you know how it is..lol. Although I live in the North West, I come from the North East...yes the geordie accent is still there...I left there in '72 and lived in London (worked in the city) for 17 years. I've now been separated for over 3 years..in process of divorce..and I came out of an 18 month relationship in April 07 and now it is time to move on. I'm a generous, caring person who takes pride in their appearance.

Who am I looking for?...well...here goes..this is the difficult bit. Someone with a young outlook who is not ready for pipe and slippers who wants to make the most of life. Someone who likes to party as well as having quieter times...a guy who likes to chat (are there any?) Someone to be my friend as well as my lover ...with a grown up sense of humour...a guy who knows how to treat a lady who isn't shy of holding hands or kissing in public. Preferably someone solvent..with a brain..who cares about their appearance. Looks are not too important...it's that spark that matters. What else am I looking for? who knows...maybe I'm just dreaming...I'll know when I find him..
