I'm tired of swimming in circles in this POF fish bowl! I met just a handful of men here who have some potential. But I'm not looking for potential. I want a passionate love affair. I'm not going to settle for anything less.

Looks like I'm going to have to be brutally honest. I doubt this will get me any fan mail or work but at least I won't be wasting my time responding to mail from people I would not be interested in. If your six pack is more like a keg, I'm not interested. I'm not perfect but I'm still in the same size clothing of that weight. If you can't run a mile without looking like you might need CPR I'm not interested. I'm active & play soccer several times a week. You need to at least keep up.

I have my act together, professional & at home. You should too. I'm not dating to get a free meal but you should be able to pay for a night out. I like to travel, mostly long weekends. You don't have to pay for me but need to be able to pay for yourself. If you have kids you must pay your child support without complaining.

I'm reasonably smart (despite my poor spelling & typing skills). You must be too. I want to be able to carry on a decent conversation. You need to be able to get the joke not be it. I've dated stupid men before and it's not hot when you feel like their mother. You must be able to have a conversation about a sensitive topic without getting mad because you can't convince the other to join your club. You can't be prejudice. Everyone is an individual and deserves to be judged as such & deserves equal rights & respectful treatment.

Unless you look like Brad Pitt, if you're over 50 I'm not interested. In fact I'm generally not interested in men over 40. I have more in common with younger men & they usually keep up with me. I want to be with someone I can't keep my hands off of & someone who can't keep them off of me. You don't actually have to look like Brad but you should be decent looking, not like you've seen better days.

I love to dance when I'm out for the night. You must be able to dance & like to dance. I'm 5'10" & wear 3+ inch heels. That puts me 6'1". You should be able to look me in the eyes when were dancing & not drop me in the dip. This typically puts you @ 6'1" or more.

Did this come off as angry or bitter. I'm not. I'm down right perky and get along with everyone, I'm just not willing to date them.

I'm looking for someone who loves to laugh, who can make me laugh, is easy going, but not lazy, comfortable hanging out with a group of friends, not clingy or jealous. I'm not interested in men who are bossy, muscle bound, long hair, don't see their kids, don't support their kids, or very overweight. If I could design my own guy he would be clever, 6ft, thin to athlethic build, younger than me, with a quick smile and a twinkle in his eye. I have met men like this, dated some and rejected some for a variety of reasons. I've also had very good relationships with a few that were far from this description. There is something about chemistry that changes the rules.
I design for GM and love it. I'm hoping to keep it for as long as possible! Buy American! I have 2 awesome boys (14 & 16) who keep my schedule very busy. Because of that I'm looking for someone within a reasonable distance of home. Anything more than that and it just becomes too difficult to spend the time together that makes a relationship work. I mostly can go out on the weekends with friends to see a band, dance a little, and have a few laughs. If you're looking to sit home, watch TV & cuddle every Saturday night, I'm probably not the girl for you. I'm an active soccer player & I'd love to date some else who plays too. It would certainly make seeing each other often a bit easier. I'm looking to date with the possibility of a LTR. Even in a LTR I'm not looking for constant companionship. I want and need my own space. Of course I'd like regular communication and to see them a few times a week but I'm not really interested in marriage or co-habitation anytime in the foreseeable future.
A little about my personality. I'm happy 99% of the time, I hate to fight, I hate drama, & I don't PMS. I the more women I know the more unusual I think I am. Except for loving to wear dresses and high heels I might have made a better guy. I was a tomboy growing up and my family has a lot of class clowns in it, so developing a thick shin was vital. Very little offends or shocks me. I'm in a mostly male dominated job, listen to Howard Stern nearly everyday, and play sports hard, but I'm not a tough chick. I rarely have a bad word to say about anyone.

I definately like to do something low key, active, & fun, like shooting pool and having drink somewhere. Plenty of flirty witty conversation is a must!
