Alright.. I am currently studying engineering here at SIU and just started my Masters degree. I want to work with the development of alternative fuels and will graduate in about another year..then it's job time! I was in the Navy for 6 years before starting school.. but didn't really care for it too much. I've spent most of my life traveling and have lived in a lot of different places... which was cool in that I had the chance to experience the world in different places. But the moving around did get old and I'm looking forward to having a place to call home.

So that's a little about my past... now the real stuff! I'm an easy going person and don't really get mad that often.. although Verizon and credit reporting agencies have tested me on a few occasions. I like to think I have a great sense of humor.. but doesn't everybody? I love animals and have thought about working with them for a career...and still may... but first I'm going to solve the energy crisis. :) I would have a dog but the landlord vetoed that, so now I have 2 kittens.

I've always played sports and still do! But I don't really watch sports..weird I know... but I've got plenty of friends that do so they keep me updated! :) I really love music!! Mainly listen to Rock and alternative..(is that even a genre anymore?) but can appreciate anything with a good rhythm. I play the guitar... not as often or as well as I'd like to, but I still pick it up when I can.

So I'm tired of trying to meet women at bars and haven't found many girls hanging out at the engineering building.. so here I am!
I'm an upbeat, sociable guy looking for someone that doesn't play games and is serious about a relationship. I'm looking for a girl with a sense of humor, a brain, and hopefully someone who is comfortable in social situations but doesn't necessarily always have to be at a party.
