I've been in San Francisco since August '08; most recently from Chicago via Jacksonville, FL (though I am from many places; a conversation for another time!) and am on the lookout for an intelligent woman for discourse, much merriment and smiles, and whatever it might lead to.

I like movies (foreign, thought-provoking, and occasionally something animated for fun) and consuming lots of other entertainment media, but not too long ago jumped out of a plane. Recently I went scuba diving in the Keys, which was absolutely brilliant - deep, wreck, night dives all taken care of.

If you'd like to join me in all the activities life has to offer or just want to hang out and share a bottle of wine, send me a message and let's take it from there. I'd really love to spend time with someone who would be able to show me everything this city is about, or enjoy discovering it together.

I am not a US citizen and have lived on 3 continents. I'm in a band (though who isn't) and like dive bars. Oh, and I am certainly an omnivore.

I've recently trimmed my hair to just below the ears, so it is no longer below the shoulders. New pics will be up, once they happen... I do plan on growing it further out again, though.

- wants someone to go to shows with, who can recommend an event for almost any evening
- would like to create music with someone else
- likes or wants to travel
- enjoys or would like to try different types of food
- doesn't mind watching movies with subtitles
- has more than a couple books on a shelf or stacked up somewhere
- wants to go urban hiking for hours
- is confident in their appearance
- has a willingness to try new things
- doesn't doubt their opinions or mind having them challenged

First dates are all about discovering the other person and learning what makes them tick - what you can both do to sync ideals and enjoyment. So this would likely be conversation over dinner, possibly followed by a walk, and liberal splashes of sarcasm and fooling around as needed to help the flow. Subsequent meetings can certainly be more crazy, if not later on during the first date!

I'm always up for something like a music gig or a movie, as long as there is some quality face-time before or after so that we actually get to talk with each other! Feel free to suggest something more wild though, I guarantee I won't be averse to it. Archery, bungee jumping, a visit to the zoo, deep sea fishing, roller coasters?!
