Hello there, pond folk!

Here I am again, giving another cast of the lure and seeing if I can reel in a keeper. All bad metaphors aside I'm hoping things go successfully here.

Honestly, I suck at these description blurbs. Generally I just end up sounding corny and that's not always the proper approach. So I think I'll take the site's big red suggestions and give the four point showcase.

I'm a tech person. I absolutely love technology and working with it. I've gone to school for many facets of it and now I do computer repair and other miscellaneous work with the things. I love my job and what I do. In addition to the electronics I read, a lot, and occasionally like to make attempts at writing. They're usually abortive but it's still fun now and then.

I've an eclectic taste in music that spans a lot of genres and has a tendency to shift about from time to time. I could be listening to something hard and headbang worthy one day then be gone off to listen to something more melodic and mellow. My favourite bands all lie in the alternative genre though and that does tend to shape my listening.

I am very much an animal person though sadly I'm not in a space I can have one. I'd love to have the space to have a large breed dog (my favourite being the tibetan mastiff) so I suppose you could say that would be something of a goal.

Really I'm an open person, honest and usually approachable. I can occasionally be off in my own little world but it's always an easy thing to reel me back in, though I'm hoping to find someone who wouldn't mind joining me up in the clouds now and then.

Depends on the person but I never found that the whole dinner and a movie was very conducive to a first date. Generally you want to talk to your date the first time you take them out so a movie isn't really a good choice for that. So really, anything that allows people to get to know each other is a good idea.
