I AM A VERY EASY GOING LAID BACK COUNTRY BOY,I HAVE TWO GROWN SONS,BOTH VERY WELL MANNERED,RESPECTFUL YOUNG MEN.I LIVE IN THE COUNTRY IN A LOG HOUSE,I HAVE LIVED HERE FOR ALMOST 28 YEARS,I WORKED AT THE SAME PLACE FOR 26 YEARS,BUT BECAME SELF EMPLOYED IN DECEMBER OF 2004,THE KIDS ARE OUT OF COLLEGE, AND THE HOUSE AND TRUCK ARE PAID FOR ,SO I DECIDED TO TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT,I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN ONE TO TAKE CARE OF MY OBLIGATIONS,BUT NOW IT IS TIME TO TRY WHAT I WANT TO DO.I ENJOY GETTING OUT AND DOING A VARIETY OF THINGS,BUT ALSO LIKE TO SIT IN THE PORCH SWING AND WATCH THE SUN COME UP OR WATCH IT RAIN,BUT IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE SOMEONE TO ENJOY IT WITH.WHERE I LIVE IS KINDA SECLUDED,YOU CAN'T SEE ANOTHER HOUSE FROM MINE,SO IT MAKES FOR SOME QUIET NIGHTS.I ENJOY CAMPING,FISHING HUNTING,BOWLING,WHITE WATER RAFTING,CAR SHOWS,FLEA MARKETS,CADES COVE,MOUNTAINS,HORSES,4-WHEELING,FOOTBALL,AND NASCAR.
UPDATE
Well i have been self employed a little over 4 years now,i'm still not rich,but i pay my bills on time and still go out when i want, and it sure feels good not having to punch a clock. I am not looking for some one to take care of me,i do alright with that part of my life.I don't need just any woman i want the right one.
a lot of people talk about their glass is always half full,i know what they mean because i have met my share of people who's glass is always half empty and sometimes even turned over and spilled it all.with me i feel like mine is always at least half full and sometimes 3/4 full. my reason for saying this is that i am very healthy,have two terrific grown sons that i am very close with.I worked a lot of hours the first 30 years of my adult life,always had the 40 hour a week job and then had a business at home that i put several hours into,but it payed off.these day i usually get up when i want to, usually around 7am,put on a pot of coffee and drink it before i get busy,and on those days i do have to work away from home i get up early and have breakfast at cracker barrel. all of this brings me back to to the glass being at least half full,with me it's not about meeting a lot of women
it's about finding the right one,if i ever do find just the right one then i feel like my glass wouldn't hold another drop. It is very rare if i have a bad day,sure sometimes things don't go smooth but at the end of the day when you are able to take a shower and sit down and relax with a good glass of tea or cup of coffee that means you are still alive and that sure beats the alternative.The woman i would be attracted to would know how to be a lady and would be treated like a lady,i might not catch every door but i will get most of them.I an a big cut up and likely to say anything when we are kidding around,but when the discussion turns serious i never say things i don't mean,because once it is said you can never take it back,even if you say your sorry and it is forgiven it is never forgotten.Ladies give this ole country boy a chance and under this rough exterior you will find a heart of gold

I haven't updated this lately so here goes
A couple of women have asked about my drinking,as i stated in my profile i consider myself a non drinker,i have just never found any alcohol that i have fell in love with so i have no problem saying no thanks,i guess the exception would be the right lady and a hot tub and a glass of wine,i would go for that.Another question that has come out is tobacco use,i might have smoked a pack of cigarettes in my life,i have had one chew of tobacco in my life,i was about 5 years old and asked my dad for a chew,which he gave me one,that lasted about 3 minutes before i hit the door and so that's another thing that i have no problem saying no to.
As far as education goes i did graduate high school and have been enrolled in the school of life ever since,i have learned some valuable lessons. I have made some good decisions Thur the years,and have made my share of mistakes. I have stood at the fork of the road a few times and had to decide which way to go,and some times wondered how things would have been if i had chosen the other direction.
I am still self employed,still not rich,but still pay my bills on time,and still able to go out when i want to.Now if you are looking for a man that can wine and dine you every night,and pay your bills i guess that leaves me out,but i will never be a financial burden on you.Now if you are looking for a man that would treat you like a lady,hold your hand in church,help you cook Sunday dinner,and has a set of arms to hold you close and a shoulder for you to lay your head on when you need or want to,then i might just be the man you are looking for.
