Why is it so hard to date in DC?? I'm at a point in my life where do I have it all figured out? No, but do I know what I need? Yes and that is someone to get to know and hopefully develop into something special. I have the friends, job and life but what I'm missing is that person next to me to share that with. I want someone with goals and aspirations (I have them) but also knows how to let loose and have fun. Not the workaholic or clingy sort. I like a balanced life...when your at work it's work when your out of work it's about the experiences.

About me:

I like to go out with friends and find hidden food gems in the city. I think intimate house parties are way better then the bar/club scene. I like markets, museums, architecture or a long walk on a fall day. I love to read and can consume a book in record speed..lol. I'm a curious person and think that at no point in your life should you stop learning. I like to be healthy but mind you I don't think you have to be in a gym 24/7 to achieve that...nothing like a good bike ride. I like verbal debates that ends with both of us laughing. I'm just as comfortable at a fine dining restaurant as I am at a hole in the wall because to me you can get exceptional food at both. I like to make the others in my life feel special and let them know I'm thinking about them (I know I like it when someone asks me how my day went..lol). I know how to laugh at myself when I do something stupid or fall on my face...lol. I love traveling and experiencing new cultures and cuisine. As for music almost anything but country (sorry I gave it a shot and just could never get into it...oh and very hardcore rap). All in all I'm very happy with life. I'm sure there is more but part of meeting someone is finding that out :) So if your interested drop a Hi, if I'm interested back I'll say Hi otherwise goodluck in all that you seek :)

PS- I'm not ready to date someone that has children, I love kids I'm just not at a point in my life where I'm ready to tackle that on top of dating someone. Lastly, while I may find black, indian or asian men attractive I'm not attracted to them. Sorry we all have our types that we like :) I hate to state limits like that but in the end I think it saves everyone's time. I wish everyone success in their search :)
