I am single because.... I haven't met that special someone yet. I want to meet someone that can make me laugh but can hold his own in a conversation. I would prefer someone that doesn't drink, but willing to accept someone that does on occasion.

I don't jump out of perfectly good airplanes. It takes an act of God and Congress to get me on one to fly anywhere. I am deathly afraid of heights, so that would be a no to hang gliding too, lol.

I do know how to dress up and I think I even own a few skirts and dresses. Only time I have worn them has been for job interviews. My last two jobs allowed me to wear jeans. Kind of laid back companies.

I enjoy playing pool. Doesn't matter who wins or loses, as long as you have fun (did I mention, I don't play fair? Shhhhh, don't tell!) I have even been known to get up on roller skates (yeah last time I did that, somebody skated in front of me and I fell face first, but still had a great time.) I listen to Nascar when I can get it on the radio (don't watch, I end up sitting on the edge of my seat, bouncing, not a good thing). I try to stay up with football, although I don't watch it anymore. I know my team stinks, that is enough for me, don't need to watch them lose too.

Because I am a single mom, I can't and don't take too many risks, although I have taken a couple in the last year and a half. First I moved across country to Ohio (yep, thought she was my best friend and found out she wasn't). That took guts, as I was trusting someone I thought I could trust. The second time was moving from Ohio to Reno, without knowing a soul. At least when I make the move to Vegas, I know I have friends there, know people I can trust and it will be okay. I just breathe in and out, slowly and say it will be okay, lol.

Music that is the feeds my soul. I listen to it when I need a pick me up, just because and when I am happy. Music keeps me sane. Love country, old rock, easy stuff, classical, some soul and jazz, definately no hip hop or rap (how do they call that music?). I also like rolling down the windows in the car, turning up the music (any is good, but 50-60's rock is great) and sing at the top of my lungs. I never said I was a good singer, but it's the effort put in that counts, lol.

I love movies. Tombstone, Armagendon, Fried Green Tomatoes, Michael, Broken Arrow, Lake House and so many more. Friday nights, my daughter and I sit and watch movies, eat nachos (or pizza or veggies) and just hang out together. She calls it our date night.

If you are interested in being friends first and foremost and see where it leads. If you have a sense of humor and can hold a conversation about something other than football, sports in general, drinking or what your buddies did the night before, then email me and lets talk.

I think this is a decision that we should both make. Movies aren't great for a first date, you can't talk and get to know each other.
Playing pool is good, skating (ok, maybe). A long walk in the park. Anything that would allow us to talk and get to know each other.
