I am an army brat and am proud of it. I lived all over the US, at least once on each coast, and once outside the US. I have earned both a BA and a MFA. I currently live in Brooklyn, NYC for the past 3 years. I unfortunately have not done as much exploring as I would like.

My favorite past times are numerous. I like to read books, watch TV, do mind activities, like The NY Times crossword and Sudoku puzzles, and the only games I like to play are video games. I also like going out for walks and exploring. New York has a lot to offer and many wonderful sites. I believe that the best relationships are those that start from friendships.

My profession is an instructor in graphics and web design in higher education. I really enjoy my career path.

I love meeting new people, but I am not looking for just a "girl toy". I want a serious relationship. I am loyal and compassionate. I am a very good listener and am through playing the relationship mind games.

The first date does not need to be complicated. Going casual is always a good start. We could do a museum, a park, a coffee house, or just someplace quiet where we can talk and get to know each other. Chemistry is the most important thing in first dates. If we have good chemistry and you have a good sense of humor and can make me laugh, the second date is not far behind.
