Still a dreamer..seeking that sweet soul who stimulates my mind, funny bone and spirit. Life is good, but the fullness of it can be enhanced when we find our time together on this journey. I'm a deep lover of nature, handy with tools, a connoisseur of sunsets, and laid back while fearless when a wrong needs to be righted. I am a recovering Yankee with southern grace and pace for over half my life, a peace activist and sane Veteran, a tree hugger with chainsaws, a spiritual being who fears religions and dogma, and a progressive liberal, with conservative friends who celebrate the fact Bush is gone and awaiting trial and prosecution. Have loved well and been loved and await the last and best love of this life. I remain a very humorous human who tries to make a difference in environmental protection and peaceful co-existence with the world. I LOVE hiking, sailing, paddling rivers and creeks, time with fine friends and music, either plucking guitar or listening. Have kissed the clouds under my own wings, skipped over the ocean like a stone, and fought city hall and won. Calmer now, friends say that I am unique in a good way, compassionate/ passionate, open, handsome, a gentleman with great humor and intellect, and an excellent friend. I love kids of all ages, critters, and have a large circle of compassion. Most of my best friends are considered outside of the mainstream, (not sheeple), and I am drawn to free thinkers and the unique... In my dream world, she would be the end of the rainbow that has eluded me for so long. She would love to talk for hours or watch supreme sunsets in silence. She might make sparks fly from my fingertips at our first touch. She would ideally be wise, funny, openminded, a free thinker, earthy, tolerant, fit, and passionate about something or many things. She would love to roll in the leaves, laugh easily and often, howl at the moon, and languish in a world class cuddle on a rainy day. She would have depth of character, be above materialist obsessions, spiritual in some sense or have a non-conventional view of life, the universe, and everything. She is seeking peace, enjoying creative endeavors, savoring deep friendships, and dreaming of a love that will last for lifetimes. She believes in karma, the great spirit, and the first law of thermodynamics. She appreciates NPR, A PHC, and music of many kinds. She awakes with a smile and passion for the day ahead. I would want to take her to where the flowers could smell her intoxicating natural scent.
