Who I am quirks and all: Honest; considerate and respectful of others; hard-working; clean; neat appearance; enjoy laughing and socializing with friends; enjoy conversation with people who have common sense-please!; enjoy a social date or a one-on-one date; may say harmless frisky comments; can take a joke, but dislike cruel people; enjoy a quick wit; enjoy live music gigs-especially bluegrass-basically, like a variety of music, but dislike rap and some jazz; have grown children; have grandchildren; believe in "family first"; love dogs, allergic to cats, dislike pet snakes and such, but appreciate the beauty of God's design in all critters; like nice but functional things; enjoy works of art and unique creations; dislike public restrooms (but "any port in a storm") and judge establishments by the cleanliness of their restroom; politically cast me as a liberal conservative or a conservative liberal ha ha--although, I have a party--I believe in voting for the best person for the "job"; dislike violence, but believe in self-defense and the greater good; enjoy movies, but dislike horror flicks; I am not desparate, but know in most cases, we all want to find that soul-mate we've longed to love, and to be loved in return. If it happens, well, it happens. And sure, I hope it does, but we can only do our best to control our destiny...life happens and we must make the best of it!!

Social date or one-on-one date, maybe a cup of coffee, walk a trail, or stroll a museum. Movie is fine at home or theater; enjoy plays, too; but would like to have conversation over drinks or dinner first. Prefer no fast food, if possible; prefer clean, reasonable establishment with healthier food choices. But if we end up with Mickey D's I'll get a yogurt or wrap...I'm not totally unbendable. Please no dating game players, friends are fine, but say what you mean and mean what you say, and we'll get along just fine...either with each other or out the door. The first date should be dutch unless the gentleman insists on paying because that is what he believes in doing. I don't want to step on anyone's toes and such...I just believe this POF dating could be terribly expensive on the gentleman if he is always picking up the tab on first dates that end up no where...Simple, huh?
