Risk Averse, Relaxed, Optimistic, Seeks Predictability
I don't like the idea of a quick romantic connection and tend to be more cautious than not developing a relationship. That doesn't mean that I am not romantic. In fact, I am more than less likely to put a relationship at the center of my life. Even though I am an optimistic person, and generally expect life to go well, I think love needs time-and more than my instincts-for me trust it to last. I am looking for a serious, monogamous relationship and I tend to invest deeply in both people and places.
I am seperated from my husband for 10 months now. He is supposed to file for divorce & is not doing so, so I guess it is up to me.... We knew each other for 10 yrs. before we got married, but I never really knew he was so stubborn abt. certain issues. I thought we would be together forever... A good healthy argument once in awhile with compromise working things out is what I expected. So, after trying to make it work despite all odds, my self respect is more important to me and my family, so I am moving on....
I would like to meet friends as friends and family is what makes the world go around....
I am looking for a long time relationship, and possible re-marriage if I meet the right person. I am looking for someone that has the same religious values, and likes to have a lot of fun & laughter in their life. I am looking for someone that loves kids as I am helping to raise my grandson age 4 1/2. I am looking for someone that knows how to fix up a house, as that is one of my hobbies right now. Sheet rocking and painting is in right now! I would like to be able to travel with someone in an RV or taking an airplane trip & motels some day after retiring...
Right now, I live with my daughter and my grandson who rent the upstairs of my house and share the kitchen & living areas.
I am fixing some sheet rock in my kitchen ceiling & painting it...I have re-done my front bedroom & have put a crawl space attic in, and would love to have someone to rent it too as well... so, more people the better as I have a 6 bedroom house. I want to get new siding and windows eventually so I can sell and move closer to work.
Socializing is fun, but I like to keep it to smaller groups of family and friends. I like to listen & watch people as I used to be a security gaurd. I now work in customer service helping business customers with their billing questions & granting late fee reversals & adjustments when it is fitting.
I like to go swimming, bowling, watch movies, stay indoors and watch a video, or go camping and fishing. I have been to square dancing classes in the past and love the fun of it... I don't really like country music, but once in a while it's fun to listen to... I like to relax in the back yard watching my grandson play in the sand box & take in the sun while drinking a diet Mt. Dew.
Writing poetry is a hobbie of mine, and I have been dabling with writing a book.
I am overweight and working on it, but I don't mind a guy with the same issues, and a teddy bear tummy!

I want to find a man that I can spend the rest of my life with, possible travel to fun places or get an RV with and travel around once retired. I have 2 cats, but I don't really like to own pets too much, other than fish. I have a big fish tank that I intend on filling up again since I just moved it downstairs. My daughter has an outside dog & that is how I like him, being outside.
Sharing intimate moments with someone I love, holding hands, and trips to the beach to look for sea shells is what I am looking for. Once in awhile, flowers are a must!

so we could chat a little bit & get to know each other. It would be fun to go to a movie after that. Guys that talk out loud in movies are a no no, so I would be watching for that... lol... after the show, if we felt good about each other, I would like to set up another date & give each other a hug and kiss goodnight. Perhaps a second date...some bowling to see if he is a good sport! I usually will give 3 dates to see if we are compatible... I have stayed friends with a few guys that I have gone out with just bcz we make better friends than companions...I love friends and hope to find Mr. Right eventually once and for all!!! Aren't we all looking for the same thing in life? Love, happiness and to not be alone?
