I have been on this site for a minute now and have met or chatted with some interesting people. But for one reason or another I haven't found that combination of beauty, grace, sophisication and unpretentiousness (or I'm just too damn picky...lol). And if I lost you with any of the words I have used so far and you don't plan on looking it up...you're not my type. I'm not looking for perfection but I'm just not a fan of willful ignorance.

Ok. A little about me, All of my pictures are recent few months max. They give you a descent idea of my size but I never take a good picture. I'm consistently being told that I'm much prettier in person. lol.

I would describe my personality as a contenting the temperment of Malcolm X, with the compassion of Dr. King, the ambition of Mr. Obama, and the obsessive genius of Washington Carver (yes the peanut guy...).lol

I am a avid reader, a gym rat and a work-a-holic. I'm ambitious at work and in my private life. I love to travel (but rarely take pics...its a guy thing) and could use a companion the next time I decide to take a trip (thinking somewhere in Europe). I'm as comfortable at an Classic Opera as I'm at a Boyz2Men concert. I'm Afro-centric and love to talk about the history and legacy of my people. One of my favorite activities on the weekends is to explore parts of the city with my date.

The type of person I'm looking for would have to be someone who believes in love. I have been blessed in the past with some great women who spoiled me and raised my standards over the years. The problem that nearly everyone I've ever been with was they couldn't leave their past in the past and move on to something new (call it the Ghost of Boyfriends past syndrom). Oh! Its also a big deal if you can hold a conversation.

It really depends on the person I'm with and how we vibe together. Once we are together I'm pretty spontaneous.
