About Me
Yes, you guess it. I'm a tech geek. I'm currently learning how to cook real food. I'm learning to cook the perfect rib eye. Working on my thai and indian food chops. I find that im really getting into experimenting and coming up with new meals. 70% of the time it tastes like crap but I have come up with some killer veggie meals and some bad ass rubs. Education wise. My degree is in animal science. That means Iv'e had my hand and in some cases my arm all the way up in some animal's business. I used to be be an licenced RVT before college, LATg and ABCDEFG. I went half way thru my masters in animal nutrition before I realised that it would give me only $20 more per pay check but my student loan would last a life time. A Phd wasnt much better. So I ventured out into the wild world of biotechnology. Like any good researcher I analyse the pros and cons of everything. P.S. I'm of Norwegian ancestry if that rocks your socks off. Update: I'm currently working on my endurance. I'm thinking of running my first marathon. "Im not fat, im just UNFIT!" (movie:Run fatboy run)...funniest damn movie i've seen in a long time. But, seriously. I'm working on get my long distance and speed up to where it should be. Because, I really do want to do a marathon. It's one of those life's goals everyone should do. Like eating a 72 oz steak in 5 minutes or chugging a gallon of milk in 10 seconds. Also, I'm thinking of joining the local search and rescue squad and you have to be very physically fit. I thought I was fit. I took the practice test tonight. For my age I did ok. Not great, but ok. What is needed is a totally different level. One which i'm going to have fun attaining. One should always challenge themselves physically and mentally. It's power bars and gatorade from now on! Update 2: Been doing a lot of pet and veterinary trade shows this year. Its so hard to find a hotel with a good gym with free weights. The last hotel I stayed at in Seattle had dumb bells that only went to 15lbs!!! How can a grown adult do anything with that? I mean spend an hour doing a bajillion arm curls at 15lbs? No thank you! BTW, LOVE SEATTLE! Its like disney land for adults!(BTW,Vegas is disneyworld) Update 3: I did my first triathalon last weekend. I did the Malibu tri. I did pretty good. I wasnt killing myself. I had fun. Im definetly going to do it next year. P.P.P.S.: I am 100% tattoo free. I know everyone seems to have them. But, being a blank canvas has it's appeal and seriously, i do not wish to go through life with a calvin and hobbs cartoon on my arm or some lame ass flaming skull on my my shoulder. Blech. Ive found that very few tats are any good. Less than 1% i guess. The rest are just pure crap. I guess, i just dont want to be saddled with crap on my body and have to convince myself every morning how awsome that badly drawn ink is.
First Date
A firing range. Because, there's nothing safer and more romantic than firing loaded weapons at paper targets with the smell of gun powder in the air and spent shell casings glistening in the setting sun. No, just kidding. But I bet it seems more fun than meeting someone at a coffee shop. What i'm looking for is a partner/girlfriend,LTR. Sense of humor, intelligence. Someone that is low maintenance and easy going that has an even keel. I'm so over with the hot and cold personality. Life is too short for that kind of stress. Passion is great but becoming psychotic because you didnt get something you way. That when taken in the context of what is really important and what isnt. It's a waste of time and emotion. If thats you? Well, i'm not your fish. I'd like someone fit that likes to be outside. Being fit or atleast attempting to get fit shows that your in good spirits and not a Debby downer and Debby doesnt get out much, does she? I'm very midwest/ scandinavian in my upbringing so fancy watches, gold, jewelery and the like doesnt impress me. To me it's just a waste. I'm more interested in core values and morals. Lot's of people say they are "good people". Those are usually the ones that will be the first to screw you. I've become a very good detective at finding out who really has a good heart and who doesnt. Do you have a good heart?
