I always hate trying to tell the "world" about me, because not everyone sees me how I see me. I am a single mom of a 16yr old. The ex is totally out of the picture, has been for over 10 years, so no old baggage. I am sincere and devoted to the people I care about.
I tend not to be to trusting of others, not a jealous person; I am just not going to play games.
I can be opinionated. about certain things in life, but I have a general open mind, about "most" things.

My interests are so varied that I cannot melt them into a few lines. Well I am laid back, but I like to get out and do all sorts of things. I love thrift stores, I have found a lot of bargains, like a Dooney&Burke purse for $5.
I am into a lot of different Sci-FI & Fantasy books, movies and TV series. Me and my Teen Daughter have been to Dragon-con for the last 3 Years. YES I CAN BE A GEEK at times!

Other than that I like fishing, bowling, pool, walking, hiking. I love trips to things that are unusual, like were a ghost has been seen, or an urban legend started, or maybe to a rock that looks like an old man, I know its silly but beats sitting at home.

I like a man to have a touch of the old fashion "man" in him. Chivalry is not dead. When I am with a man I like to feel safe. Opening doors, helping you to put on your coat or sharing his. It is little things that make you feel safe.

I am looking for something more long term, but dating is the only way to find that.

Well hopfully that's enough to catch at least one fish.

I am not a big fan of bars; you can't hear yourself think, so having a conversion is impossible. Restaurants are fine, but again the conversion is often interrupted by having to figure out what to order then eat, etc.... My first date is at a coffee shop were you can sip you favorite Java, and take your time talking. If things go well then off to eat. Most of the time people have enough chemistry to say hey I want to know you better, or thanks but no thanks.
