FIRST OFF:

I have to get one thing off my chest about my theory as to why I am still single. FOr the most part, I beleieve that women have been injusticed by men. Let me explain before you assume I am a man hating bra burner....
Usually when I ask a guy what he is looking for in a woman, he will usually add that he wants an independant woman who knows what she wants. I am finding this to not be true, as I have always been very independant and then I come out in the end heartbroken because a guy mistakes my independance and ability to provide for myself as arrogance and B1+chy-ness. If I act like I need to depend on a man, I am normally said to be clingy and "too needy". You guys probably can't make up your minds, so I am ere to tell you that I provide for myself and my son... but I refuse to support a freeloader who wants to take and take. I think a healthy relationship consists of two people who can fully support themselves, but enjoy the feeling of helping and giving to eachother.

MY PERFECT MATCH....

Ok... I want to find the man I can spend the rest of my life with. More specifiacally... I want him to be with me NOT because he can't live without me, but because he doesn't want me to have to live without him, and vise versa. It is a kind of selfless love that I want. I know it is far fetched and probably like a fairy tale, but hey.. a girl can dream, right???

MORE ABOUT ME...

I am like the girl next door. Drama free, down home, fun loving, spontaneous, the kind of girl you can bring home to meet mom. I am a full-time student and a single parent. I am not up for games, so I will just let you know right now... I am looking for Mr. Right, not Mr. Right Now. Perfection is not what I am looking for... just a genuine, honest, hard working, supportive man who knows the meaning of monogomy and knows how to have a good time. Knowing how to relax and have a good time is a MUST. I am lady that knows how to treat my man, and I want a man who doesn't mind giving as well as taking. I do have a couple extra pounds I am working off since I had a baby in July, so having someone around who likes to be outdoors and active would be a super plus!! ;-)

MY HOPES AND DREAMS...

Someday my life will calm down, and I will have the oppertunity to travel. I want to travel all over the world. A lot of people say they want to do this.. the difference is that I actually will. :-) I also want the obvious for myself... to find my other half, raise my son to be a successful, loved, and respectable man who treats others with love and respect, and to be successful in my career.

This is the man's job! I just want a first date to be in a good setting to talk and get to know eachother, that's what the goal is anyway :-) I'm not too hard to please.
