I'm retired now and am working towards turning my photography into a successful sideline.
I'm looking for a creative, articulate and independent minded gal who enjoys discussing the issues of the day without making it personal. I'm a libertarian at heart... I respect those with opinions more so than those without one. Traditional gender roles are fine, as long as there is no 'double standard'. I am, by nature, a most courteous, curious, open and forthright person. A 'working relationship' implies the willingness to work at it and I am. I do believe in "Love at First Sight" (it has happened to a few), that there needs to be some chemistry in the beginning and that 'true love' takes a lifetime to develop. A journey of sorts, taken together. I'm looking for an equal, a pal to share all aspects of life and someone who still has a healthy sex drive... I do. I can lead when I need to. If you can accept me as I am, I can do likewise. I can leave the past, in the past, if that's what you want. I'm good either way. I do stop and smell the flowers now... I photograph them too!
I love Alaska, but I sometimes yearn for a warmer climate. I was born in the South.
I love dogs and like cats though I have neither at the moment. I like most music with the exception of classic Country Western and mean spirited Rap. A few of my favorite artists are Norah Jones, Annie Lennox, Santana, Boney James, Kenny G, Chris Isaak and B.B. King. I especially like the new smooth Jazz and upbeat Latin music. Sorry, I don't dance much, ankle issue. I do watch a few TV shows, but no spectator sports, nor do I have a favorite team. I would love to go to an NFL football game, a NASCAR race or the Kentucky Derby sometime... never done that! Going to an antique auction or local flea market or 'garage saleling' on a Saturday morning is fun too. I also enjoy watching some independent & foreign films. Rocky Horror Picture Show, the Wizard of OZ, Children of Men, Casablanca, Empire of the Sun, Wild at Heart, Ghost in the Shell, Serenity, RAN and Catch-22 are a few of my favorites.
I love to travel! I do prefer to explore 'off the beaten path' versus a formal tour or cruise, but I'm always open to ideas. I just got my Passport so I'm good to go. Some patience is required when traveling with a Pro photographer. Where do
you want to go?
We could watch the Northern Lights streak across the sky, view the moon up close or zoom in on a near by galaxy. If that sounds boring, we could hit the road in search of a ghost town or a fossil bed or maybe prospect for gold. Or we could kick back and shoot off some fireworks... make our own Northern Lights!
What do
you want to do?

or

, you decide!
BTW- This profile is a "work in progress". I'm realistic enough to realize, there is no such thing as a perfect match. If you like 'most' of what you've read, by all means, contact me. Bob
KISS! (keep it simple, sugar) On initial contact, I think coffee at a book store or coffee shop is best. After that, maybe dinner and a movie, but I think a 'first date' should be simple and unassuming. I like going to the Beartooth Theater for some of the more 'Art House' type movies and a good beer. Or if the weather is nice, a short road trip to Portage or Palmer along the old Glen Highway. I also like to cook... What can I make for you?
