What's a guy got to do to get a decent date in this town? I enjoy a drink but not enough to meet women in bars so I am trying this. My name is Jon I am from Dallas orginally and just moved back here for work about a year ago. I am here for good, I have my own business and I am fairly decent looking. So I have been told. I have a variety of interest. I try to stay healthy and walk about 2-3 miles a day. I also like to mountain bike, hike, camp, and spend time with my two dogs. Most of my friends would describe me as easy going, fair-minded, funny, articulate and fearless. I am not sure what they mean by fearless.... I've been known to roll the dice and take a chance I guess. I would like to meet someone kind and fun that I can enjoy talking to and being around. Someone secure enough to let me go out with my friends and have my own life is important. I don't want to be with anyone that can't respect my time or my life. I haven't found anyone I want to be serious with in the last couple of years. It would be nice to find someone to have the "spark" with. I am a bit of egalitarian when it comes to love. I want a healthy balance of giving and taking.

First dates are either great or horrible. I don't like all the pressure so I try and keep it low key to start out. A good meal and conversation is usually good followed by a trip to a comedy club or a walk in the park is fun.
