I've been a widow for a few years now and don't know the proper ediquite to say if I am single now or not. I have dealt with my husbands death and all the fall out from it and am ready to begin again. I am content in my life as it is right now (most of the time anyway). I work full time but enjoy my weekends off. I love taking my dog for walks playing slo-pitch and taking my camera everywhere I go. I'm easy going and love meeting new people. I am independent(some say too independent for my own good). I try anything once(well not skydiving or anything that involves lots of height LOL),twice if I like it. I'm not into heavy drinking and don't do drugs. I guess I am looking for someone to talk to hoping that a lasting friendship will emerge, who knows I might even be lucky enough to find love. I'm not the world's best speller so please forgive any errors.

I've never really thought of a first date senario. For one thing, I know I would be really nervous because I haven't dated in years(more than 20). I guess I would like to go to some place that was public(safety first). I would meet you for coffee, or a walk in a park, so we could get to know each other a little better allowing both of us a chance to escape if we so chose.
