About me:
I am a preacher's kid...yeah I know, your mother warned you. Don't worry...half of the rumors aren't true and you probably won't mind the other half anyway. Nevertheless, I was raised with Christian values. No doubts about my faith and am looking for the same in a mate.

I love to travel...about 1/2 million miles over the past 6 years...some for work and the rest for fun. I own my own home and am into kayaking, motorcycles & dirt bikes, snow skiing, airplanes and astronomy. I do also have a quiet side and enjoy doing things around the house, watching old movies, quiet dinners or grilling out by the pool and taking in the sunset.

I care a great deal for people and am a good listener. I try not to offer advice unless asked. I am a kid at heart and the love of occasional adventure is a requirement. Physical attraction is important in any relationship and if there is no chemistry then it probably won't go any farther than friends. Baggage is optional, but less is more. Drama is frowned upon. ;-)

I love kids and although I don't yet have any of my own, my nephew and nieces can supply references. :-) If you have children, I can assure you it'll be fun.

I exercise at home and believe in fitness --but posing at the gym...not so much.

Things I can't live without? My faith/Christ, my family, coffee, starlit skies, my DVR, roller coasters, Orson Card novels (Ender's Game), and HOV lanes?

Somewhere easy for a quick meet/greet. Coffee or something simple to break the ice.

If we strike a connection then we would quickly graduate to better surroundings. Possibly a nice dinner and good conversation over a glass of wine? ...Or maybe something really fun where we could get to know each other better...six flags? (Roller Coasters tend to bring out all sorts of interesting things in people.)
