I'm on honest outgoing playful spirit looking for someone who can give good hugs, is not afraid to cuddle, loves nature, music, art, and movement. Someone who Loves to laugh, eat healthy food and is open minded.

And now a short bio..

Resent history (the last five years or so)...
after finally getting a M.A. in Cultural Anthropology and spending two years looking for work I ended up going to Japan for two years. Came back to Halifax to follow up on a long distance relationships that didn't work out and then came back to Newfoundland to help my Farther who came down with Leukemia. (He's fine now and in remission and doing very well). I've been working at MUN with the ESL program for a couple of months as kind of a jack-of-all-trades doing secretarial work, bookings, program development, a little bit of teaching and substituting. I'm thinking of doing a few courses in Ethno-Musicology either in the fall or winter and possible pursuing their M.A. program.

Passionately speaking...

my passions lie within the realm of Music, Aikido and recently once again Yoga (although getting back into it on a regular bases is a bit of a challenge for me.)I often like to think of my self as a happy pagan/hippy kid who seems to connect best with musicians, artists, flakes and geeks.

Politically speaking...

Well I seem to fall into a matrix of a Feminist eco-spiritualist Green party socialist utopic dreamer. I haven't been very politically active with everything that has been going in with my parents health, moving around a lot and of course a new job. But I know I will get back into and will at some point be playing a drum, chanting down with the powers that be or tying not to get arrested (or perhaps trying for the right cause) at some point in my future. My biggest claim to fame is that I drummed with Starhawk during the FTAA protests in Quebec back in 2001.

On a first date what I would want most off all is to find a connection with the other person. To be in a place where we are both relaxed, feel we can be silly, and talk about whatever comes up for us. I'm not sure if I could say for sure what my ideal date would be. But I can imagine meeting for coffee/tea at Coffee Matters then taking a walk the Signal hill trails and then having lunch/dinner at the sprout. (I have a weakness for good vegetarian food) Then if we both felt comfortable we could hang out and cuddle watching something that would makes us laugh and then perhaps talk some more before saying our good byes with hopes of seeing each other again.
