I'm a creative, loyal soul, looking for someone with a nice logical, practical streak to team up with for world domination.
I'm very creative and this pops up in all sorts of forms from new recipes, to shabby chic style home decoration, or my favourite hobby face and body painting. My only son thinks it's great Mum's a face painter, cos it means his mates all get to be super heroes. It's a fun hobby as I get involved with events as diverse as Notting Hill Carnival and Children's Hospital Xmas parties, (my way of putting something back). I do face painting for charity, but would never volunteer to run the marathon.
I am fairly tall for a girl, and am going to admit I'd like to meet someone my height or taller. My Aunties tell me I'm too thin and could do with feeding up a bit. However I am a standard size 10, not a size sero. I currently have one nursery aged child, and a reasonable support system for baby sitters, though I won't take the proverbial.
A good meal catching up with friends followed by a spot of dancing or seeing a band is my idea of a good night out. I'd love to see Roy Ayers or Felix Dexter live, but haven't had the opportunity for a few years.
In 10 years time I see myself living in a house in Kent/the coast, with a large garden, an extra kid or 2, and growing my own blackcurrants. As I get older, I find myself drawn more and more to the simpler things in life.
I'm nothing like my mother but am beginning to think I may be turning into my Granny. Certainly I'm starting make cup cakes more often, and say things like "You can't fight life's battles on an empty tummy - have a nice cup of tea dear". I want to "go courting", as in start out friends and see what happens.
City living enables me to take advantage of all the museums, galleries etc the capital has to offer, and it would be lovely to have someone to share this with. I also love digging round flea markets.
I'm left cold by the gym (we have one in our basement at work), preferring to stay in shape simply by walking my young whippet regularly. I also have a cat.
It'd be nice to make some new platonic friends to attend POF meets with occasionally,until I meet "the one", so do drop me a line if you feel you'd fit that category.

First Date
For a first date - a cup of black coffee and a slice of yummy cake somewhere central.
Just meet for an hour or so, then if you hate me you don't have to suffer too long, and if we like each other we can start to build up the butterflies while we wait to meet again ; )
