Hello! I want to say, thanks for taking the time to read my profile that I have worked so hard to find the words to describe myself. You had to do it you know how hard it is. First of all and most important I am the mom of two children. My son is 19 and my daughter is 12. I work 12 hour shifts for a local hospital that means 3 days on, two days off, etc. So my days off are weird but I have learned to like them. As for my hobbies I really enjoy dancing, gardening (well I'm learning how), spending time with my children, having friends over, cooking and just enjoying life. I like to travel. I love to see new places and meet new people. I just recently went on a 7 day cruise to Jamaica and Grand Cayman Islands. I had so much fun just on the boat talking to the staff. The staff represent 72 different countries. My son and I are taking a cruise in October, I can't wait! My goals, well I've already reached so many. I am still dieting to loose weight, I am still working on getting my house painted, and my long term goal would be to raise healthy, happy, well rounded children. I think there should be a long term relationship in there for me too! My taste in music, I pretty much like anything. I read on these profiles where people say that, I just wonder if they like classical music? or R & B? I can't see these East Texas boys liking those two types, but we will see. I am a fun person to have around. I made friends on the cruise just by being myself. I went with a friend from work but she stayed in the casino so I was on my own. Not for long, I had a group of people before long, laughing and talking and I even learned how to dance at the disco! Ok, I think I have talked about myself enough and if I haven't scared you off please send me a message! FYI, I don't have the time to just "chat" I would rather meet in person and talk, so if you are in to just chatting then don't send me a message.

First dates are usually awkward because this is your first impression of the other person and they know it. So the night should include a venue where both people are comfortable. It is nice to go some place quiet so you can talk but if the night ends with dancing and loud music that is ok too, as long as both people agree.
