Sailed the world for 3 years on a 39 foot yacht(sailboat)want to do something like it again in the future..I have an adventurous spirit and seek the same. I would also like to travel around Australia, USA, Canada, Europe one day too by campervan possibly but not in the near future. That is a long term goal once my children are grown.

I have a kooky sense of humor at times, love to laugh and enjoy a good joke and enjoy the company of good friends. First and foremost I am interested in developing new social circles (men and women) to hang out with and just enjoy life. I am content with my own company but would like to expand those horizons..especially in doing things on the water or outdoors (eg. bushwalking, picnics etc.) as it is not safe as a woman to be doing them alone and much more fun with friends. Diversity in people is always a good thing too, so people from all walks of life interest me. Honesty and sincerity is what impresses me the most, everything else is decoration.

I have an active faith and am committed to my beliefs so to be my friend you must be able to respect my desire to practice it. Do unto others as would have done onto you is my moral goal post. So I treat people with the utmost respect and expect the same. I am not a bible basher (your spiritual journey is your business) but I will express my opinions if the conversation leads in that direction.

If you are just looking for intimate encounters don't contact me it is not what I am about. I value integrity in my friends. I would like only sincere, open and honest people to make contact with me. If this is not you please move on to the next profile. I would like to be the kind of friend you can talk about your girlfriends with as you would your mates (without the intimate details). I will give you a woman's perspective if you so desire.

I seek "platonic friendships" with men and women, for now, if this concept is hard for you to grasp we won't get along. I regard myself as a lady and like to be treated as such. Eventually I seek marriage as the overall outcome of this journey from friendship to dating to relationship. If marriage has no part in your future then tell me so up front, as that way it is kept real and we both know where we stand.

If you are seeking a "normal life" with someone then that is not me, my life is and has always been extraordinary and always will be. Definitely not boring, so may have a book to write somewhere in the future.

I have degrees in Acupuncture and Massage (the legit type) so am health conscious and love to learn and be involved with healing on a holistic basis.

I don't drink alcohol, coffee or tea, so juice and water are fine for me.. having said that I may indulge in half a glass of a red once or twice a year (does that count as drinking?)However I prefer to be with people who don't need to drink to enjoy themselves or is the focus of their lives. No alcoholics please.
