I'm a 27-year-old female from Kansas City who is goal oriented and career minded. Bet you can’t say that about every 27-year-old you meet! I consider myself to be honest, caring, trustworthy, romantic, a good friend, and fun to hang out with. I enjoy traveling (New York is my 2nd home), reading, listening to music, playing the piano, photography, museums, art shows, going out for a drink and listening to a live band, going out for drives in the country, spending time with my dogs, reading, watching TV, attending fairs/festivals, spending time with family and friends, shopping, and more.

***DISCLAIMER*** Yes, I am a comedian (ok well maybe not) but I do have a sense of humor and a fairly sarcastic one at that. No, I have not personally delt with all of the examples below, so please don't think I come with enough baggage to last me a year long trip to Hawaii! This profile was an attempt to make you laugh and give you a break from reading the typical "Hi I'm Barbie, I'm 5'9 and like long walks on the beach," etc....***END OF DISCLAIMER***

If you have a criminal history, outstanding warrants, use drugs, consider Cheech and Chong to be your heroes, routinely find that a porcelain toilet is becoming your best friend due to getting drunk on a nightly basis or are just looking for sex then please don't bother responding. ABSOLUTELY NO (and I do mean no) EXCEPTIONS WHAT-SO-EVER!! Period! Please don't waste my time if you have any kind of criminal history because I am not interested.


I’ve kind of given up on the whole “looking” for a relationship thing. I guess with age I have realized you can’t actively look for a relationship and expect it to just fall in your lap. Everyone has their own “criteria” (if you will) as to what they are looking for in a partner. Sorry if this offends anyone, but hey, like I said earlier we are all entitled to our own preferences.

• Non-smoker (As am I)
• Social drinker (Please, no alcoholics. That’s what AA is for)
• MUST BE SINGLE!!! It’s amazing to me how many married guys I’ve seen on online dating sites(not to mention in real life) who don’t know the meaning of being in a monogamous relationship. It seems difficult these days to find a guy that has not only never been married, but that also doesn’t have any kids. No offense if you do, but I’m only 27 and I have no interest in being a mom right now
• Not on any type of supervision like probation or parole (I need to be able to bring you home to meet mom & dad at some point without being embarrassed and having to explain the bracelet on your ankle)
• Speaks English fluently
• Between the ages of 26-36.
• Single (yeah that’s kind of important. I don’t “share” well lol… plus cheating is just sooooo wrong. Shame on all of you committed or married men cheating on your significant others. I don’t care what your excuse is- it’s wrong! Plain & simple!)
• Little to no facial hair (If I wanted something furry kissing me I’d ask my dogs. If you expect me to shave my legs I expect you to shave your face)
• Either going to school or working or both (I’m an independent woman, which means I support myself. I expect you to do the same.)
• Actually enjoys going out to do things and has a sense of adventure (I love traveling, going to museums, photography and art in general, etc… and would be interested in taking up dancing. Maybe I’ve watched one too many episodes of “Dancing With The Stars” though. Lol)
• Is polite, courteous, honest, romantic, trustworthy, caring, etc…
• Calls when he says he is going to call
• Apologizes when he is wrong (men & women need to work on this)
• Appreciates spending time with me but also has his own life (my life won’t revolve around you and I certainly don’t expect yours to revolve around me)
• Likes trying new things
• Remembers “the little things” (i.e. your birthday & anniversaries)
• Isn’t afraid to be affectionate (to a point) in public or around his friends
• Will proudly introduce me to their parents, friends, etc…
• Knows how to save & invest money for their future
• Will indulge me when I’m not feeling good and “take care” of me (if men can demand this so can women!)
• Knows better than to blow off plans with me to go to a strip club with the boys or some other boy outing
• Can cook half-way decently (I’m no Rachel Ray so I don’t expect you to be Emeril, but we can learn together :))
• Likes to travel and would be happy to accompany me to New York or some other fun trip
• Likes sports (I do too!), but can separate himself from the TV & remote without having withdrawal symptoms
• Can make me smile & laugh


So there it is….that’s my “criteria.” Is it too harsh? Do you pass? Are you even still reading?? Haha

So are there any SINGLE gentlemen left?? Lately my opinion on men has been that all the goods ones are either gay or taken, but hopefully there’s a man out there who can prove me wrong!

I enjoy "non-traditional" dates (i.e. anything but dinner and a movie- it's sooooo cliche!) Fairs/festivals, dinner at a japanese steakhouse where they cook in front of you, going to a museum or art showing, going to a a theme park, or the zoo. How about going to a photography class, an art class or a cooking class? I also love the Chiefs & the Royals so if you could score tickets to a game that would be an awesome 1st date!
