Thank you for looking at my profile. This reminds me a little of putting together a resume, although I’m sure the interview process is a lot more fun. I enjoy meeting people of all stripes, but the bar scene with all the game playing and bad opening lines is not for me. I enjoy and feel comfortable in social situations, but it is always nice to be in a comfortable setting where you can get to know someone.
I am happy with who I am but also enjoy learning, growing and achieving. My friends and co-workers often comment that I am very fun to be around, easy to talk to, and someone they feel they can implicitly trust. I am flattered and value their confidence. In some ways, I might be considered old fashioned because I treat a woman with respect and dignity, but I also like women who are somewhat independent and unique. Even though I am the type of person who doesn’t feel compelled to be in a relationship, it is so enjoyable to share my life with someone else. I believe that it is impossible to have a loving relationship without having a foundation of trust and respect.
Life of course has its challenges, but I am always amazed by what people can achieve when they overcome obstacles and believe in themselves. Without trying to sound like the back cover of a self-help book, I am impressed with people who spend their lives filled with optimism and enjoy and use what talents they have been given. My friends often describe me as witty and charming. That may be a bit bold for me to say, but I have a way at looking at life through a lens that allows me to find the positive and humorous things.
One of my favorite albums is Frank Sinatra and Count Basie “Live at the Sands. It includes many classics like, “Fly Me to the Moon,” “I’ve Got You Under My Skin,” and “You Make Me Feel So Young. It’s hard not to tap your feet, snap your fingers and move with the music. Each song exudes a sense of romance, optimism, and fun. I look forward to sharing myself with someone who possesses those same qualities.
