Yeah, I know, Crimewatch. It was either these or a passport photo, and I look like a suicide bomber on those.

So what am I looking for? Basically, I’d like to meet someone I can have an intelligent conversation and a few laughs with over drinks or a meal, hopefully leading to something more permanent if we click. Socialising aside, I enjoy the countryside, cinema, reading and creative writing - I have work appearing in the current edition of crime writer Allan Guthrie's on - line 'Noirzine' (check out 'Whisky River' and 'Rush' by Stephen Hawley) and an agent/commissioning editor currently considering my novel. ( If that doesn't come off, I'm about a year from clearing my mortgage - I was due to read for a PHD in American history a few years back, but couldn't get financed, but if I've finally got the mortgage off my back, it's a possibilty).



Oh yeah, I'm a graduate non – smoker, but as long as you’ve half a brain in your head and you don’t chain smoke, give me a go. No older women, though, and I will need a photograph.

Drinks/food, laughs, dancing if p*ssed. Rude stuff optional. Alternatively, I'd settle for a moonlight stroll on the beach. Earthy but romantic. That's me.
