First and foremost i am a dad. I find that most women cant see past that and thats fine. My boys are amazing and i love them so much!.

Im looking for someone who is goofy, caring, sweet and passionate (thats not asking too much right?). Also someone who can hold an intelligent conversation. I want a best friend, a lover and someone who just makes me smile. Well read and sarcasm is a plus! Bonus points if you know what the theory of relativity is (without google). If you dont know.. Google it! Promise it will enlighten you..

I am, for the most part, looking for someone with kids themselves. Im not closed to the notion of dating someone without kids but since my boys are my focus I find it hard to imagine a person without kids would understand or even tolerate my need to attend to them.

Anywho about me... i guess ive been told that im very sweet, and caring. That im a good father and if you met my boys i think they are a testament to that! Most people think im funny and quick witted. I believe in honesty and don't meddle in half truths. I am confident in myself and am not needy or jealous (traits i dislike in others as well). I've been told that i have very soft lips. Most would say im easy going and easy to get along with and very genuine. I feel like im a very intellectual person. I try and learn something from every person i meet and am always trying to gather what might be the meaning of what it is we(the people) are doing here. I am truly amazed by the world and it seems like the more i learn the less i know. I want to find someone who opens some of those doors for me. I do believe for the right person we can share that type of enlightenment... I love talking about life, politics, religion, philosophy, sports, and anything that matters. More then that i love to listen to others opinions. I may not agree with everyone but perspective is one of the most important things we have. If you can effectively gain perspective of the world around you, you are an amazing person and i want to know you. Here is one of my favorite quotes... its all about perspective.

Music: Classic Rock like The Eagles, Aerosmith, Van Halen, Journey, Steve Miller, Tom Petty. I also like other bands like Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Sublime and Rage against the Machine.

Movies: Forest Gump, Cinderella man, The green Mile, Gladiator, Braveheart, Shawshank Redemption, All the Die hard movies, Rounders, Boondock Saints... etc

Books: Angels and Demons by Dan Brown is my favorite even though that seems cliche since the movie just came out. My other favorites are The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch; Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson; A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini; The Testament by John Grisham. I could go on for days.

Alcohol: Captain morgan and diet coke... mmmm. Mostly dark beers like Guiness or newcastle or Negra modelo or Sapporro. You girls can keep Vodka and Corona .. YUCK!

Goals: I want to write a novel, own my own business.. probably a restaurant, travel the world, learn the meaning of life, have my boys grow to be excellent men.
