Paradox... Life is a mystery. Don't waste time trying to figure it out. Humor...Keep a sense of humor, especially about yourself. It is a strength beyond all measure. Change...Know that nothing stays the same.
Here goes my best shot at describing who I am in a little box.
When it comes down to it, I would consider myself a very passionate person. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always had extravagant dreams of doing so many amazing things with my life, many of which I’m proud to say I’ve already accomplished. And lots of them I am still working on! Not to Mention all the new ones I dream up everyday!
When it comes down to having fun, I like to say that I’m always up for trying anything at least twice (just because something wasn’t that great the first time, doesn’t mean its gonna suck the second time around)! So some of the things I do on my own time for fun… lets see, I love using my bike or my long board to get around wherever it is I’m heading. I can easily spend a day just cruising around watching people do their thing. I love camping, and hiking and backpacking…pretty much anything out in the wilderness. I always up for playing sports, no matter what it is. Some of the sports I really enjoy playing is Ultimate Frisbee, basketball and soccer to name a few. If it’s a rainy day, or I just feel like spending some time inside, I like to sit down to a good movie or play some board games or cards with friends. Music follows me everywhere, so whether it be live music at a pub or festival, or tunes blaring on the stereo, I’m always grooving to something! (one of my dreams is to one day play the cello)
Speaking of grooving ;) I’ve been taking swing classes for the last year and have previously taken ballroom dancing classes. So if you are the type of girl that would like to do this sort of thing its a big bonus.
What else to say... I’m half Newfoundlander and half Acadian. I grew up in New-Brunswick and moved here about 2 years ago. I’m fluent in French and English. Last September I started studying massage Therapy. So far I'm loving it, I'm hopping to focus my future work with children with chronic pain or terminal illnesses. But for now I'm going to focus on finishing my studies. I’m a big fan of kids in general, I’ve worked in daycares and most recently as a nanny for 5 kids all under 6 years old. Definitely wants kids of my own some day. I’m big on family, I’m very close to mine although most live in New-Brunswick. And I am in love with traveling and random adventures.
When it comes to what I am looking for in that special someone, its pretty simple. I just want someone that will treat me with the type of respect I will treat them with. Of course I want to be attracted to them, but to tell you the truth, there is nothing more SEXY than self confidence!

First Date
My Ideal Date would be meeting up at a grocery store on our bikes and getting everything we would need for a great picnic. Next stop would be picking up a bottle of wine to go with lunch. At this point we would wonder off in any given direction to find that perfect but random spot by the water to spend our day. I would make sure to bring some bread so we could feed the ducks and we would talk until the sun set.
Either that or get together and bake cookies! really! who doesn't like cookies!
