Hello one and all. The name's Richard. I live in Troy. Moved back from Memphis, Tn. about 14 years ago...and have been divorced for about that long. I enjoy most outdoor activities including golf, fishing, boating, and tailgating during football season. Indoors...I enjoy watching college football...ROLL TIDE!, the Braves, singing karaoke, a good movie, and enjoying a fun evening with someone special whether that be grilling steaks, resturant dining, or especially belly rubbin on a dance floor. Also, couch schpooning on a rainy, cold day watching a classic flic can be quite pleasureable. With me, TRUST is a BIG DEAL!!! It's getting harder and harder finding those out there that are truly trustworthy. Hey, getting a date is easy, but finding one of quality is the tough part. I don't know where any of this will lead, hopefully I will have the opportunity to make new friends and possibly more.....who knows? I will respond to everyone who sends me an email that includes pics. Good luck to all and be careful out there....LOL. BTW, if you are into smoking, tattoos, and piercings in areas that make most people squirm....am afraid you won't get very far with me.

Update: 4/20/2009 Another year has come and gone....as of last month, I became a grandfather for the first time...Michael Thomas is his name...great looking kid...guess he got his good looks from his father...who, of course, looks Just like Me....LOL. I have updated pics of myself, my grandson and the family available...if you'd like to see them, please forward your personal email address and I'll be happy to share what I have so far. Hopefully, more coming soon.

My experience with first dates can either be a lot of fun or really uncomfortable. You'll find with me that IF I don't have to be the one to hold up both ends of a conversation, we'll get along just fine. Most people who have met me will tell you that I'm very comfortable to be around. There's nothing boring about me....I think my pics reveal that. Anything that keeps us both in our comfort level is great.
