I am a Conservative, Capitalist, Catholic and Californian. Conservative - I'm a registered Republican. Capitalist - I believe in free enterprise. Catholic - I go to Mass regularly. Californian - I was born here, as was my father.

Saying what I do hasn't served me well, so I'll try a new tack. I don't own a Harley or watch Nascar. I haven't been camping in 40 years. I've never gone skydiving or scubadiving. I don't play golf. At the top of my 'don't do' list is infidelity.

I attend 6 or 7 live entertainment events per year - opera, musicals, festivals. I go to an equal number of live sporting events, usually baseball. I went to Italy in 1998 and '99 and visited New York in 2006. Most other vacations have been long weekends spent with family. I haven't travelled much because I don't want to go alone anymore.

I'm interested in someone who likes dogs and live theater. Someone who will at least tolerate sports or come along for the ballpark hotdog and peanuts. I don't want an exercise partner, but I attend the gym 3 to 4 times a week and would like someone who is reasonably health conscious.

Although about 10 lbs. overweight, I'm built more like Arnold Schwarzenegger than Arnold the pig. My body type might best be described as average/athletic/fit/thick/stocky/a few extra pounds, but that wasn't an option.

I am 5'7" tall. My height, or lack thereof, depending upon your perspective, doesn't bother me. However, it seems to be an issue for some. If I could change anything about myself, it probably wouldn't even be on the list. As far as I'm concerned, you can be 6' tall and wear 6" heels.
