Just recently I gained custody of my 13 year old son. So that is what consumes most of my time right now. I am feeling a little overwhelmed considering the situation because for most of his life there was someone else there to do the mom things, that a man can't do or isn't accustomed to doing. I am not looking for a mom for my son, but definately a great role model. I don't want him to grow up and hate women or treat them bad.

I am looking for a friend first, and if it goes further great.

I have many interests, first and foremost is my son. I am a fun-loving guy, I enjoy most things outdoors, as well as, bowling, shooting pool, fishing, coaching my sons baseball team, building cabinets, flooring, counter tops, well I guess anything home improvement. My dream is to someday buy some land and build a house myself. I am not in the construction field, but I love everything about it.

I would love to meet someone who is easy going, someone that doesn't expect me to be perfect all the time. I am not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but I would never do anything intentionally to hurt anyone. And now I am trying to raise my son be be a good person and a good citizen.

I want someone that I can accept as they are and someone to accept me for me. I hope that doesn't sound stupid.

Lets just see what happens. Then we can talk about a first date.
