I’m lucky enough to have a job that I enjoy, perhaps too much at times :), but I’m finding that as I age I’m becoming more interested in finding out what life has to offer and I’m also finding that it would be nice to have someone with me to share in that adventure. Life is just too short and I'd rather enjoy it with someone beside me than alone.

There should definitely be a shared connection or chemistry with the right woman (BTW: where are you, I've been waiting on this site long enough! :). There has to be mutual physical, intellectual, and emotional attraction. The right woman would not be exactly like me, so that our differences add spice and allow us to grow, yet we should have enough shared interests to form a common ground between us.

As for me.....cooking is a hobby of mine (though I rate myself as a novice). I read so much at work that by the time I get home I tend to prefer to watch TV (I’d rate myself 20 out of a 100 on the couch potato index). I enjoy traveling, whether a major vacation or just a day or weekend trip, though this is something that tends not to be much fun solo!!! I started back running last year – I feel better and I enjoy the calming effect it has on me when I'm doing it, but inspite of that it’s a chore to get myself to go out each time. Occasionally (meaning not every night) I prefer to dine out (dancing would be nice too, but self-imposed embarrassment isn’t ... so maybe no dancing after all :). I’m not a big sports fan, though it can be fun in moderation. That said, I’ve always been an autoracing fan (note: autoracing and monster truck events are not substitutes for each other :0 ) and have always wanted to visit Indy, Daytona, and several locations in Europe (yes…..to watch a race……and to vacation and see other things…I’m not a total nut). I even like NASCAR and chicken wings, but I don't two step and I don't own a horse, so there is probably a contradiction there :). As for music, I guess that I never grew up as I tend to favor electronic, techno, ambient and similar styles (if you find this weird, then you’ve been warned!), though I’m always open to most anything. Oh, by the way, I have my quirks ... well, i'll just leave it at that for now! :)

BTW: I only said "yes" to the question "do you have a car" because they didn't allow for little red wagons....I have a plastic bucket and shovel too!! :) haha
