Okay, so now it is November and I still haven't updated this thing properly...What can I say? Been busy!!!!! Geesh, get off my back already!!!! ;) So now I am up to using bolds with italics. I promise to rewrite this thing before I start using underlining for updates... Really, I will... "Cross my heart and hope to die, stick a needle in my eye" promise. Okay, so on to the updating!

I am in my mid thirties and a single parent Hasn't changed, Duh!!. I can be shy, goofy, affectionate, and caring like to add: a reliable friend and occasional pain in the ass. I have a bachelor’s degree in social science with a history concentration, an associates degree in computer information technology, and I will be starting work on my second bachelors very soon In May, I actually started work on my 2nd and 3rd bachelors. What can I say? Overachiever!!. I love my children even if their sole goal in life seems to be to drive me insane I think they are getting closer to that goal!. I served 6 years in the Navy, so I have traveled some. I have lived in Florida, New York, Connecticut, Virginia, and currently back in West Virginia. I have traveled to Spain, Italy, Greece, Ukraine, and Israel.
Okay, up to this point we are still good. No need to update...Okay, maybe I should update one thing. I believe my children have succeeded in driving me nuts. What did you expect? I did have to memorize the Spongebob Squarepants theme song so I could sing it with my youngest whenever he is in the mood!

I currently live in Weirton, WV. Going to be moving closer to Wheeling sometime within the next month. Okay, I have finally moved. It took about a month and I still have stuff to unpack, but I am moved. ((Under my breath)Give a guy a break! You try moving all this furniture, appliances, and misc stuff by yourself and see how long it takes you!!!!! Geesh! Lol!)

I have been trained to run a nuclear reactor, worked as a marine electrician, been electrocuted (Boy did that hurt! Lol!) I work in retail focusing mostly on computer repair work. My company went out of business. Now I have a BETTER job working for the state. Still think it is a better job even if I keep getting more work assigned to me.

At a fund raiser, I had the opportunity to try out for the Olympic Bob-Sled Team which was an interesting experience! I enjoy computer programming even if I don't have much time to do it anymore. Someday when I have more free time, I am going to try my hand at writing fantasy. I love listening to people! I have learned so much just by keeping my mouth shut. Lol!! Just read on here that I should talk about what makes me unique. I am unique... just like everyone else. My taste in music is mostly oldies with focus on 70-90's. Not much into country or rap. My goals are too numerous to list, but I am doing pretty well on meeting them. Even if I am about 5 years behind schedule! Lol

Okay, I forgot to list what I was looking for. That was my mistake!! Lol! At this point in life, I am looking for a friend to do stuff with. Going out to a comedy club, taking dance lessons, or visiting a winery is fun, but somehow I think it would be more fun if I had someone to talk to before, during, and after it.

I discovered over the summer that I really enjoy going to Sing Sing dueling piano bar in Pittsburgh. Everyone is in a good mood there all the time!

I am tired of being optimistic when it comes to romance, so yeah, a friend is more inline with what I want. Okay, cool. Everyone get that? Yeah, even you in the back? Great, glad to hear it!


Disclaimer: Okay, I am tired of receiving messages from women with no photos. Does anyone actually enjoy receiving those? Does anyone want to respond to them? I don't think so. We all want at least an idea of what we are getting in to here. How would you like it if I had no pictures on my page. (Come to think of it, it would eliminate this problem, since no one would email me! Lonely future that way!!) Having a picture gives us an idea about what to expect. Does the person appeal to you or not? Do they have 5 to 10 pictures of themselves all with alcohol in their hands (If you do, no offense, but do you have a drinking problem?) Does every picture show them with a viking helmet on (That would be weird, wouldn't it?)? So please for the sake of all of us, men and women alike, include a picture. Feel free to put effort in to making it flattering ("Catch more flies with honey than vinegar" kind of thing there!) or don't. But at least put a picture up!!!! Forgot to mention, I don't know how often I am going to be on here during the holidays. It is time to gear up for some Christmas cookie baking.
