Dating is like "FEMA", there is always big expectations and usually disappointed in the end

Well..where do i begin..im a single dad of a beautiful 10 year old girl that lives with me, im a drag racer, a towboat pilot, i have lots of good friends and i LOVE to make people laugh!

I cook (and pretty well i might ad), i clean, I dont live in a dirty house and i don't drive a dirty vehicle, I'm a real participating daddy, homework, i attend school and other functions with my daughter, I really have a GREAT life and am a very happy guy not to mention very lucky and blessed..the only thing missing from my life is someone to share it with and build a great future with!

I've had a few long term relationships in my life, usually unfulfilling due to folks not telling the truth about themselves from the beginning, i always feel like on the first date you are with their representative and not them..you dont meet the real them till later..but that being said i still have hope there are a few really good ones out there!

So what am i looking for you ask?..obviously i have no idea due to the fact i havent found it..lol...seriously i want to be loved completely, without boundries..i dont want to be friends first and this is why..i feel like there must be attraction in the beginning and from that the relationship grows and you then get the best friend you've ever had..i mean i have alot of beautiful lady friends and dont wanna date them, hence the reason im filling this out..lol..i love humor..i think thats the problem nowdays..no one takes the time to laugh anymore, i mean passion is great...but after 4 or 5 hours of passion , you need to be able to talk and relate to the other person..communication is always key..as is fun and TRUST..i live by a saying.."trust takes a lifetime to build and an instant to tear down".

i am VERY passionate about being Daddy..my most important job..i have a great kid, well mannered, happy, smart, caring, good morales and i will do everything in my power to make sure she stays that way!

I go into relationships this way..relationships are HARD..very hard..so you must work at it everyday

I want to look into a womans eyes and KNOW she loves me..without any doubts..anyone can say they love me..i want to be shown! I want to be the reason a woman smiles when no one is around..i want to be the first thing on her mind in the morning and the last thought she has before sleep..i want her to know i adore her and love being with her no matter what we are doing..when we are apart, i want that gnawing feeling in my stomach from wanting to be near her again...too much to ask for?..maybe..but im hopeful

Think I'm corny or a sap?..lol...thats really not the case..i just speak my mind and dont hold back in anything i do..

Somewhere we can talk..get to know each other...not alot of distractions..maybe a nice dinner and a walk..or just sitting and talking..i do cook...but i dont feel it appropriate to ask a lady to my house on a first date..so somewhere public but quiet
