After swimming around in these waters for almost a year, I've not yet met the right guy--I've emailed with some, but nothing further than that. So I decided to make a few changes here.

I'm still that active, independent woman who wouldn't mind spending some nights in--there's just about 30 lbs. less of me (20-25 to go). I still have those many friends (and more).

Ultimately, I'd like to be in a long-term relationship, maybe even marriage. In order for that to happen, ya gotta date some first, right?

I'm not a mind reader. If you don't tell me, don't expect me to know what you're thinking. And, on the same note, don't expect to know what I'm thinking. If you want to know what I'm thinking, ask me. It is beyond unfair to make assumptions and/or conclusions about someone without talking to them.

I'm looking for a man who shares some of my interests, but not all of them. I don't mind if you like to watch belly-dancing, but if you like to belly-dance, that might be a problem!

And, of course, the basics: great sense of humor, laid-back, attractive, honest, active, etc.

One last thing--I prefer to date White/Caucasian men. No offense to anyone, but while getting to know me, you'll see that my preference is right for me.
