Yes, I come with a kid. He is 14. His mother passed away recently(we had already been divorced for several years so I'm kind of like a widower but not really) and he is my number one priority. Since I'm looking for a long term relationship I just need to let everyone know up front that we're a package deal. I work for a mortgage company, I have simple tastes. I like casual eating out, movies, hiking, camping, the outdoors. I also like computers, photography, and just hanging out with friends or family. I would like to meet a woman who is intelligent, articulate, caring and flexible. She would have to be a non-smoker. I'm a loving person, honest, faithful and true. I don't have a lot of money so I can't be your sugar daddy, but I don't need a woman for her money either. I'm hoping for a relationship that will move through the stages of friendship, attraction, intimacy and mutually exclusive commitment (in my mind those two go hand in hand), and eventually, partnership. I'm not looking for marriage or opposed to it, but I would see it as a final step to "seal the deal" on a realtionship already established.
First Date
Well, ok ... depends on what you call a "date". For a first meeting I think coffee or lunch and conversation would be best. I think first meetings should be no obligations, no expectations ... meet and talk for a while then part company with no decisions made ... talk later online or on the phone and see how we both feel about continuing on to an actual "date". An actual date can be anything we decide we want it to be. I'm flexible about the whole thing and you never know what kind of a monkey wrench chemistry is going to throw in to the gears of planning or restraint.
