I am a single Dad with a 15 year old son. He is the center of my universe, but he's beggining to develop his own interests which leaves me with more free time.

I'm a spiritual person but not "religious". I'm a fiscal conservative but more liberal socially, a registered independent but not an anarchist. In music I lean towards Country or classic Rock, but my tastes are very ecclectic. I don't like rap, hip hop or polka.

I work for a mortgage company ... pretty much your basic weekday dayshift. I rarely work weekends.

I used to live in Frisco, but now I live in north Plano near Frisco.

I'm looking for someone to spend time with and to do things with. Check my list of interests and see if you like any of them. I'd love to find a woman who is open minded, non judgemental, easy going ... practices good hygiene ... is a morning person ... and isn't threatened by the fact that I'm raising a teenage son.

Lately I'm wondering if "financially secure" is a code women use for "has lots of money". I'm not rich, but I pay my bills and I provide for my son. I can't be your sugar daddy but I'm not after your money either.

I don't want to date. I want to spend time with someone and develop a relationship. I want to be friends, enjoy each others company, and see what happens. "Dating" is too formal, too stiff. What we do we can decide together along the way. Hopefully we'd be friends first, maybe more later ... I'm open to any possibilities eventually.
