I am lucky enough to have had three sons who married wonderful women. I have seven grandchildren. None of my family lives in Florida.

I was born and raised in Mississippi. Married at eighteen, We were an Army family and moved a lot. I graduated college at forty-six.

I own a business that I am working hard to retired from. I have been ALONE since 1994. I am in good health, figure is proportionate to my height. I can dress up or down, depending on the occasion, I still wear high heels (and can dance in them). I like holding hands, hugs and kisses to start with. I love walking on the beach. I am not high maintenance.

I like to dance to the music I grew up with and even some of the stuff my children like. If you don't dance, I can certainly teach you the fun of just holding each other and swaying with the music.

I have never made a trip on the back of a Harley but would love to. Had a Suzuki dirt bike but with three boys I had to share.

I am a little odd when it comes to food. I prefer simple fare. I'm not into fancy anything..can be a cheap date. I smoked my first cigarette at sixteen. I quit "cold turkey" in 1976 and have not smoked since. I don't have a problem with others who
smoke as long as they have the manners not to blow smoke in my face.

I absolutely love animals; dogs and cats mostly. I never learned to ride a horse but would love to try. I like men of most all ages and get along well with most. I get along well with my sons, my four grandsons and their friends.

I love music from Country Classic to Opera and would love to sing but can't carry a tune in a bucket. I prefer older films more than most that are produced now. My two older sons followed in their Dad's footsteps. The younger of the two just retired and the older one will retire in June. The Star Spangled Banner still brings tears to my eyes.

That about sums me up.

I would enjoy meeting a gentleman between fifty and seventy-three who is smart enough to recognize that age does not define us and that we all are very much the person we were when we were twelve as well as all the years piled on top of twelve. I have for the most part enjoyed my life and would hope that I could meet a man who could say the same.

It would be nice if he has a weird, wicked or silly sense of humor. That at his age (what ever that may be)he can still laugh at himself, enjoy having fun, save serious for that which is actually serious, be honest, kind and affectionate with his partner. Hopefully he would not let insignificant things become major issues before sharing what was bothersome with his partner.
