I'm looking for the right guy who finds me his right girl. While I look, I stay busy with my jobs, my volunteer work, my horses (4), my dogs (2 - they're on my chair with me in one of my profile pics), my books, and head out once in a while to watch my friends sing at karaoke. Garage sales and auctions are fun, even if I don't buy anything.
Note: I've lost a lot of weight in the past year and hope to add new photos soon. The picture of me in red is the most recent one - it was taken in January at a mingle at O'Brien's. It's hard to take a good photo of yourself.

I often attend the Sunday afternoon minglers and occasionally attend the other PoF events. They're a great way to make friends (male and female) and meet people without any pressure. Check out the Ontario party threads in the forums.
My ideal mate is a nonsmoker, honest, reliable, and likes to touch and be touched. I like clean hands that have done some hard work and a sparkling smile that reaches your eyes. Conversation is important, too - I'd like my mate to be open to chatting about anything from politics to horses to books to spirituality. Height, hair and eye colour, and body type are not tremendously important, but a passion for life and living is essential. I am looking for a long term relationship.
I don't like the new category "Smarts" - book knowledge doesn't make you smart or interesting to be with. If you're interested in the world around you and are passionate about life, that's far more important.
Send me a message, I'll reply.
First dates can be tricky. Sometimes it's just a meeting at Tim Hortons for coffee. It's easy for each of us to choose to go home alone, go somewhere else for dinner, or just to continue talking, and we've each only spent a buck or two.
Dinner in a quiet restaurant is good, too. Somewhere comfortable where we can talk without having to shout.
