In preparation for this new adventure, I polled a few friends for some of my best qualities. Here is what they said: adventurous, humourous, intelligent, compassionate, global-minded and fun to be with (okay I paid them!!). But I think they do describe me well. And as the headline would suggest I have a bit of a shoe obsession!! Least you are worried, I do not have any children or pets but would surely save them along with my shoes!!! I am however able to leave them all behind to go travelling. Rather hard to trek in Nepal in high heels!!!

I am well travelled (15 countries and counting) having had the amazing experience of working overseas-twice. This wonderful experience has given me a big travel bug (no it isn’t contagious!) and a great wonder/curiosity of all places and all people. I am not the sit on the beach type of traveller and would like someone who would go on safari or explore off the beaten path with me. When at home, I try to stay active (bit of a challenge lately) and although I enjoy the outdoors (bike, roller blade or a nice walk in the woods) I am more of a cottager than a camper; prefer fireplaces to bonfires. I am also well educated and can hold my own in most conversations or situations - been known to voice my opinion on one or two.... occasions. I do like a good debate provided we can agree to disagree if there are opposing views.

Besides the shoes I consider myself well dressed-rather funky and hold a wide variety of interests. I am pretty much a rose coloured glasses type of person so am usually pretty optimistic and don't let the little things get me down. Overall I think the package deal is very good but that really is for you to decide!!

Well that is enough about me,(have his eyes glazed over yet?-Quick ask him some questions). What about you? What makes your heart race? What makes you laugh?
