How would I describe myself? Smart, attractive, funny, sincere, generous, affectionate, passionate, honest, independent, stubborn, competitive, whimsical, athletic, creative, kind-hearted. I am usually laid back, but can also be intense at times...it depends on what I'm doing and who I'm with. I love to laugh and usually see humor in most things. I am way younger than my chronological age would indicate - both in attitude and energy level. Age, to me, is just a number!

I am pretty down-to-earth and unpretentious, I like nice things but am not overly materialistic. I love clothes and shoes, but know how to shop for a bargain, keeping in mind you get what you pay for. That's kinda how it is in life all around, isn't it?

I keep myself fit - in body and mind - and do the usual girlie things like hair, nails, and makeup, but I am definitely NOT high maintenance. I try to work out regularly, the elliptical, weights, and yoga are part of my routine. I read as often as my schedule allows - fiction, non-fiction, self-help, how-to, etc. I never want to stop learning...

I am a divorced mom of two great kids - 21 and 24, one in college and the other graduated and on his own. They are young adults now, and I can enjoy the terrific job I did raising them and relate to them in a whole new way. I love them to bits and they are still a big part of my life whenever possible. You don't need to have children, but you will need to understand my love and devotion to my own.

I like nature, the beach, the mountains, quiet evenings at home, exploring new places, the arts, music, most sports. I love animals and have pets (2 dogs and 2 cats). I am very dependable, a great listener, a true friend and good companion. I love being affectionate with my partner and wish the same in return. I love giving small gifts and kind gestures for no reason - just because I want to, just to let you know I am thinking of you.

Why I'm here: I am looking for a guy with intelligence, integrity, wit, and charm. Good looks and fitness are important, but let's not forget that chemistry is a must-have. Please be honest, faithful, and sincere and over your past relationship(s). I want you to shower me with love and affection, but also know when to give me the occasional few moments of space after a crummy day.
