Single man 47,romantic,loving and communicative seeks a single woman for a loving, commited relationship. I'm consistent in my moods and I don't run hot and cold. I don't play games; they don't make sense because the person will eventually find out exactly who you are once they've been with you so what is the sense in pretending?I'm down to earth, easygoing and fun to be with, not uptight at all. I have a lot of energy and enthusiasm for life and for the person I am with. I'm looking for someone to have good conversation, to be an encouragement to each other and meaningful connection.

UPDATE 11-23-09 I’m confused by something; Isn’t this a website for people who want to meet people? I ask because I regularly get these messages from women saying “how are you doing this evening?” When I respond, I almost never get a response back which tells me that there are a lot of people that just want to chat for the moment. Any future emails like that will not be responded to, so please, don’t send them if a quick chat is what you’re looking for. Also, I get many emails pertaining to my job stating “I was thinking of trying to get in shape”, followed by a bunch of questions. Think about it , if you were a doctor, would it be ok for some guy to email you and ask questions about MRI’s or Catscans? Please, it’s so tacky, don’t do it, PLEASE. Also, many women respond wanting to meet, but they want to correspond over the internet for a long time. Right from the start, let me tell you, I’m not interested in that. At the very least we could talk over the phone and get a feel for each other’s personality. I wouldn’t rush you into actually meeting until you were comfortable, but I can’t see how a simple phone conversation is such a huge leap of faith or tremendous consequence. Also, if you are 21 and live in California or Wisconsin, don’t send me an email saying how wonderful I seem and that you want to meet. I wasn’t born yesterday. Thank you

On the first date ideally will be someplace where we can talk and get to know each other. Coffee, dinner,someplace that's not too loud or dark so we can look into each others eyes and hear what the other is saying.
