Full of curiosity, laughing on the way!!! I am a funny adventurous type always on the lookout to experience new sights and sounds. Definitely not afraid to put it out there and make kids and adults alike giggle! Done my share of travel, Europe, Mexico, Hawaii, most of US and even the great place known as Canada coast to coast! Next trip is Ireland or Cuba or Guiness or Mojitos if you will... I love live music and festivals and all outdoor activities. I am passionate about cuisine and ethnic foods much like Anthony Bourdain or Jamie Oliver are. As far as perfection in the kitchen, I am somewhat closer to Gordon Ramsey *%#!!&%/oops! I can cook anything and bake as well. I make a point of dressing well and smelling better! I try to stay in shape as much as possible. Why just the other day my ex told me I look 41. I gave her $5.00 but quickly asked for it back when it twigged that she meant dog years.... A little bit of ying and yang, my sporting interests are limited to hockey(hockey is life) but also appreciate the arts in all mediums. I have a real concern for the environment that my son will inherit and try to do my small part to turn things around. Yes, he is the man in my life and I live for him but he is at the age where his world is ever growing. As a result I have room in my life for a hip,interesting, youthful thinking woman. I am a great believer in giving back in life and do so by coaching kids in hockey. I take great pride in having parents thank me for making a positive inpact on their children. I always thank them right back!! Big fun,big rewards. I am originally from Vancouver and have no probs jumping on the ferry to meet somebody ultra special living over there. Once again allow me to say to all the men out there yeah, we know your car or motorcycle poses make you feel complete but it's all a bit lame-o. I have owned a lot of nice cars and bikes but I have also been the proud keeper of some highly efficient flushing toilets but they remain out of my pics.. Oh and by the way what is it with moustaches? Isn't this 2009? Creepy and weird. Also please keep your moobs hidden and take that fish you're holding up and stick it where.....I am all things as a male species. I can be strong yet show compassion and tenderness. Rain or shine we would meet with coffees in hand for a hike at one of the many incredible parks in this area. After one of us would suggest a journey downtown to poke around in the shops. Feeling peckish we would slide into a pub for a bevy and a bite and listen to some cool jazz or blues. We would see a movie theatre showing a matinee and one of us would pull the other inside. Two hours later and we would head home with a bottle of wine to savour while we became immersed in conversation. (Cartoon bubble over your head, "Is this guy ever going to go home?" Bubble over mine, " I'd like to leave but she won't stop talking! . Footnote. Sooooo I am not entirely sure about this fishing stuff. I have been on dates and had relatonships as well, albeit brief. It is a great way to meet people but also as I have heard from others, can encourage one to start looking again. A lot of time and energy is expended and when it goes South, well ,it can hurt. Perhaps it might be best to let the Universe dictate things rather than us earnestly searching . What do you think? However someone is out there and I am here for that someone.
