Hi lovely ladies, are you looking for someone who doesn't fit the mold of today's modern man? I am old fashioned and can be a little eccentric at times.

I am looking for a new best friend, someone I can grow with, share and learn from; someone I can enjoy trying to fulfill her dreams and fantasies. It would be nice if she shared some of the same interests I do, but yet have some differences too (heck, I don't want to date myself). It's the little differences that makes life interesting and gives it its beauty. I'm not sure just what other qualities I'm looking for, other than I ask for kindness and faithfulness.

I consider myself to be faithful, kind, thoughtful, fun loving, honest to a tee (my friends say I'm too honest), a hopeless romantic (haha), and just an all around nice guy. I would say hard working, but as age creeps up on me, I now just enjoy life more (slowing down I guess). I still believe in doing a good job however (an honest day's work for an honest day's pay), and doing it right the first time.

I'm a Christian conservative who knows the truth. So if you don't mind me reading The Bible in my spare time, that's a good start. I firmly believe that every individual has the right to believe what they want; the liberals who never really know from one day to the next just what they do believe and the moderates who can't even be honest with themselves as to where they stand (both reeds shaken by the wind).

While I'm not very good at telling jokes or quick with a quip (as they say), I love a good joke and usually get them all (I love to laugh) and enjoy it when others do too. I dislike gossip and lies, no one gains by those, they only serve to destroy people.

On the first date, I would just like to take the lady somewhere where we can visit and get to know each other better, either over a quiet dinner and a walk, or something similar.
