I am 44, divorced and work for a newspaper. I like to workout and stay active. I like people who are real and honest and down to earth and not stuck on themselves. I try to treat others as I would like to be treated.

I was on here several months ago, met someone who I thought had potential to be a long term relationship so I deleted my profile. I am not a serial dater or someone who really enjoys the process at all. I would like to meet someone and if there is chemistry, I would like to pursue a relationship with that person, I am not into seeing multiple people at the same time. I also do not want to settle. I have several friends, enjoy golfing occasionally, work full time and have been at my company for 20 years, so I have a satisfying life, just think the right person could enhance my happiness.

I am looking for someone who I can connect with physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally. I am not just looking for someone who looks amazing but has no substance, I want the whole package. I have been single for almost 4 years and from what I have seen, there is not a lot of quality people out there. I hear from the women all the time, how the men are this and that, and not what they are looking for, but from what I have seen, there are many women with the same issues. I do not like writing these profiles, I think it is hard to portray who you are in a few paragraphs; however, some people are very good at it. I am just a nice guy who is looking to meet someone that does not have a lot of baggage or issues. You can easily find someone taller, with more money, better looking, but, I am a very nice guy and you would have a hard time finding a man that would treat a lady any better than I will. I am a giver not a taker. I have old fashioned values and believe that a man should open the door for a lady, help her with her coat, pull out her chair for her, I believe a lady should be honored, cherished, and respected. I hope every lady out there finds a man that will treat her as special as she is and deserves to be treated.

Somewhere where we could have conversation and get to know each other. I think it would even be fun to do something active such as canoeing or biking. Coffee, lunch, or dinner would be fine as well.
