Although quite comfortable on a formal evening, I prefer being with a small intimate group, where we end up gathering in the kitchen while I make dinner with my partner or end up at some casual restaurant where we can all sit around a table for hours and enjoying each others company. I am content to take long walks any time of day, and prefer to do so with someone I can talk to to pass the time and share the days or weeks events. I like to spoil my partner whether at home by ourselves in front of a fire, or out in public. I will take your hand if offered, and link my arm in yours as I enjoy closeness. My favorite spot, even for a day trip, is the mountains. There is something so majestic about looking out over our countryside and realizing how small we actually are. What's nicer, is when I look up to see if you are watching the view also, you are looking down on me with a look of contentment on your face. At night, when it's raining, I open my window to hear the rumbling of thunder headed my way and smell the freshness left behind from the rain. There is nothing better than watching the sun rise and set, whether sitting on the east or west coasts. I'm told I'm assertive, sometimes a bit bold, but not frequently. I have also been told that I am easy to talk to, open up with and fun to be around.

I hate the awkwardness of a first meeting. A cup of coffee is fine. A drink even better, if there is a relatively quiet place to talk. A walk with each other is also wonderful. I'm not very picky about the where. I just want to get to know the who.
