Hi there. My name is Matt. I'm a carpenter & farrier. I've been divorced for 6 years, & have 2 sons, who live with their mother. I'm a very outgoing person & make friends very easily. I think I have a cook-out to go to every weekend until October. I have a Boston accent that I'll never get rid of. I love the Sox, Bruins, Pats & Celtics. I enjoys just about any type of activity, especially outdoorsy crap. I'm an avid fisherman, I coach youth soccer, play pool in 2 leagues, golf, & play on a soccer team in the summer. I like to go out & party sometimes, but I don't let it run my life. Volunteering takes up alot of my time. I belong to the Lions club, playground comittee & the West Brookfield Hysterical Society. Though recently, most of my charitable contributions have consisted of free labor on my friend's houses. I'm not rich, I'm not poor, I go to work every day & come home to putt around the yard, nothing special. I'm as regular as a guy gets. When the roof leaks, I get up there & fix it, when the door squeaks, I oil it. I don't have a lazy bone in my body. I love long walks on the beach as long as I have a surf caster in one hand & a bait bucket in the other. I'm just me & looking for a woman who is just her. I've been on 4 official 1st dates in my life. By official, I mean just two of us (always boy-girl) going out somewhere. 1st date : 11th grade, we went to the Kahula, I tried to impress her by blowing out the sterno in the middle of the pu-pu platter. Her hair caught fire...& that sucked. 2nd date : 12th grade, Lalapalooza concert, we got married, have 2 kids, & split 10 years later. 3rd date : 29 years old, I met a girl at the V.F.W. (this is no bullshit). I let her pick where to go & we ended up at chili's for nachos & margaritas grande, then took her to get her belly-button pierced...don't want to talk about that one. 4th date : last year, we were going to go shopping in North-Hampton & ended up stopping at a county fair & amazingly, had one of the best times with a person who I had absolutely no chemistry with & knew I would never date again. For having nothing in common, we talked all day while checking out the animals & betting on the horses & it never got wierd. So, I'm thinking for a first date, maybe just a walk through horse sh*t might do the trick!
