Ok I'm not much into braggin about myself, but this site says I have to do a little so here it goes...I'm a laid back kinda guy, I have a wicked sense of humor, and I love to make people laugh. I have never been married and do not have any children, though I'm not opposed to dating someone who does have kids! I have learned ALOT about cooking since I have been single which means I don't burn water anymore
(two years later I'm getting pretty good at it)I am a honorably discharged veteran of the US Navy! I own my house and worked at the same job for six years now! I enjoy Nascar, NHRA Drag Racing, Dallas Cowboys football,fishing, and a few other sports! I am a t-shirt and jeans type though I do clean up nicely! I am comfortable out on the town or at home! With summer approaching you can usually find me on a the beach enjoying the outdoors. I like a variety of music from Jimmy Buffett to some of the 80's hairbands. Just because I have heard from various sources that some men on POF can't take rejection I wanted to add that if I send you a message, and you reply with a "Thanks but no thanks" I'll be sure to move along and leave you to your search without berating you for your decision or sending you a nasty note back. I am an adult and have been shot down enough to know whining and fussing won't make a bit of difference. If I see read/deleted then I'll just assume I don't fit your desires for a partner, however I do think that being courteous to someone who takes the time to send a message speaks volumes about who we are. I reply to all who have emailed me and I see it as the respectful thing to do regardless of whether I think they may be a match or not. It's just the way I am.
